Iron Maiden Release North American Tour Dates

Iron Maiden announced earlier this week that the band will be embarking on a North American tour this summer. The 'Maiden England Tour' will run from June 21st to August 18th and in some aspects will model their 1988 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album.

Iron Maiden's local dates right now include stops at Jones Beach, The Susquehannah Bank Center in Philly and July 2nd at the Prudential Center in Newark. The first leg of the upcoming tour will feature Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Alice Coooper and then after July 21st, Coheed and Cambria will take over as the opening act. The Maiden England Tour will be the first North American tour for the band since 2010 when they were on the road in support of their 'Final Frontier' album.

Iron Maiden has been performing album tours such as this one in between working on new albums and has seen quite a bit of success with this format. Prior to The Final Frontier album, they performed a summer tour in 2009, the 'Somewhere Back in Time Tour,' mostly comprised of performing their 80's hits.
