internships in promotions, news and advertising! Work with real
radio professionals on real radio projects as you network, build
your resume and gain valuable experience you just can’t
find in a classroom!
You must receive college credit for your internship!
Promotions: Work side by side with your favorite
DJ's in state-of-the-art facilities and represent 105.7
The Hawk at station events! You must be able to have
fun and enjoy meeting new people! Night and weekend work will
be required. It's a great opportunity to learn many different
aspects of radio, limited only by your initiative!

News: Take an active role with Millennium’s
award-winning news team! You’ll accompany field reporters
on assignments, write copy, gather and edit audio, and maintain
a high level of phone and face-to-face interaction. You should
possess strong people skills and present yourself in a professional
manner. You’ll eventually get to research, produce and air
your own news package, which you can keep as part of your portfolio!

Advertising: Learn the “in’s and
out’s” of the fast-paced world of radio advertising,
from developing proposals, to creating advertising schedules,
to sales techniques! Duties include client research and many administrative
tasks to assist our team of account executives, so highly organized
individuals with strong computer skills are desired!
