Infrared Camera Shows How Your Body Loses Heat

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow is warning us about the extreme cold conditions in our area this weekend. This video is evidence of just how important it is to stay bundled up!

This footage was taken using the military spec Selex Merlin thermal imaging camera. It's pretty fascinating to see how quickly his body turns from red to green to blue. His fingers start to lose heat immediately after removing his gloves, and the color just creeps further up his limbs and through his torso.  Way to sacrifice for science, man!
