Mike Schwartz, Jennifer Barna and the staff of Hometown Heroes stopped by the Hawk studios during Andy Chase's show Friday afternoon

A three-alarm fire that broke out early Friday morning in downtown Toms River is out but crews remain to begin their investigation into the fire on the corner of Washington and Robbins Street, right near the Hawk studios (which were thankfully unaffected by the blaze).

Unfortunately, one of the buildings that was affected by this fire was the one that houses Hometown Heroes.

From Hometown Heroes' facebook page:

"We appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, and messages during this extremely difficult time. We lost everything in the fire last night. As we begin the rebuilding process, we need your donations now more than ever. To help: http://usahometownheroes.com/donate

Also, please share this post with friends & family. Again, we can't thank you enough for your support."

Please help out if you can, especially considering that this wonderful organization has been there for so many in need for so many years.

It's now our turn to assist them.
