The Government shutdown is now on its 16th day and who knows when the standoff between Democrats and Republicans will come to an end.

Last week, stories started circulating that because of the shutdown, people would not receive their hard-earned tax refunds until the shutdown comes to an end.

But that is not true...According to Bloomberg:

The Internal Revenue Service will issue refunds to taxpayers even if the U.S. government shutdown extends into the filing season, a decision that may reduce political pressure on Congress and President Donald Trump to reach a deal to re-open the federal government.
