Health Improves For Wunder Wiener Owner Gerry LaCrosse

It's been a long seven days since an out of control SUV jumped a curb on Rt. 9 in Beachwood and crashed into Der Wunder Wiener building with owner Gerry LaCrosse inside leaving him in critical condition.

LaCrosse has already undergone several surgeries from the internal bleeding and damage to his spleen. He has been on a ventilator ever since the accident.

On Sunday, the ventilator was removed, and he was taken out of intensive care.

A family member said that he is not out of the woods just yet, but that it's a good start to his long road.
