As workers continue to remove remnants of the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City to prepare for the opening of the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, developers are considering adding a new beach bar.

The City Council approved a resolution to authorize the company to apply for all necessary permits to construct, maintain and operate a beach bar.

The proposed beach bar would be located between the Steel Pier and Maryland Avenue.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is expected to open this summer, and bring about 3,000 jobs to Atlantic City.
