Governor Chris Christie says he’ll seek a second term, particularly because he feels he needs to continue to help the state recover from Sandy.

“The public needs to know that I’m in this for the long haul, that the person who has helped to lead them through the initial crisis wants to help lead them through the rebuilding and restoration of our state.”

He filed papers with election officials on Monday sealing his intention to seek a second term as Governor.

Do you think it’s important for Christie to stay in office to continue the rebuilding work or would you consider voting for another candidate to pick up where Christie leaves off?
