"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

That well-known quote is of course attributed to John Lennon.

And most of us who aren't kids anymore know all too well how true that is.

So I've been thinking a little about a bucket list.

If you haven't ever seen 2007's The Bucket List, starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, you might want to check it out.

It's the story of two guys who are both terminally ill and decide to hit the road together to do everything on their wish lists.

It gets you thinking about how precious life is and how much we miss out on if we don't think in terms of seizing the day and truly living out our dreams.

I don't have a list. Yet.

But if you do, I'd love for you to share it here! Or at least the top couple of to-do's on your list.

That might inspire me to finally begin my own list. ;-)

By the way, I found a place online where you can make a list and find joy by not only fulfilling your own goals but by helping others to accomplish the dreams on their lists, as well.

Here's hoping that everyone who writes a list will be able to check off their wishes before they leave this earth, with not a single one left behind....

....and to be able to answer the following two questions with a resounding YES.
