So The Lovely Christina and I have been talking all last week about whipping my butt into shape as we approach summer.

Just to refresh your memory, I'm not going crazy on a super strict diet and I am not becoming a gym "rat" either. I'm just looking to reduce the gut a little bit. I would like to lose 10-15 lbs. I will however, watch my calories and do some ab exercises here and there.

 

With the help of The Lovely Christina, she is going to make me beach worthy! (i know there is at least a 4 pack in there somewhere). Christina is a "Beachbody" coach, and is a damn good one at that. Check this out if you don't believe me. Christinastoffofitness.com. She is going to put together an abs video so we have a few exercises that we can do.

She understands that I want to lose weight but I'm not totally committed. So this is what she recommends:

She recommends trying to stay around 1300- 1400 calories per day with doing minimal exercises. There is a great APP on your Smartphone that you can download and keep track of your progress.  (You can check out the APP here.)

All you have to do is enter the foods you eat for the day, and it calculates how many calories you have eaten, and how many you have left to go for the day.

I think I'm already off to a good start. I'm using the number 1355 as my target for calories per day. I had a turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch today, and then later on, I have had an apple, and an orange for a snack. The fitness app said that the sandwich is about 420 calories. The apple and orange comes to about 120 calories.It says I have about 813 calories left.

I am on my way!
