George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943 in Liverpool, England and would have turned 71 today.

Mike Love of the Beach Boys has paid tribute to George with a previously unreleased track called, "Pisces Brothers".

According to rollingstone.com:

Written in 2004, but released for the first time today, "Pisces Brothers" was inspired by a trip the Beach Boys co-founder and the Beatles took to India in 1968 to learn from the spiritual teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

The song title refers to the astrological sign that Love and Harrison share.

Mike Love recalls that the trip was a powerful moment his life and says in a blog at huffingtonpost.com that:

"Being there together, it was not about the music business; it was about learning to reach a deeper level of the self. It was a rare moment in time, and for me, a defining moment in my life."

Mike's Tribute to George was recorded in 2004 for the abandoned album, "Mike Love Not War".
