So, to all you smokers out there, you should heed this warning: Do not flick lit cigarettes out the car window while driving!

Why? Well, here's why.

On Sunday, 48-year-old Travis Paul Smith, of Delaware, did just that.

But instead of gravity doing it's thing and the cigarette falling to the ground, it gave the middle finger to Sir Issac Newton and instead flew right back in the window of the car. The car then completely went up in flames!

Luckily, a few people were there to pull Smith out of the car, The Wilmington News-Journal reported. However, unfortunately for him, he suffered severe second- and third-degree burns and he'll be in the hospital for a while.
