So simple, yet so true.

Algerian runner Taoufik Makhloufi apparently didn't think of this quote in the last few seconds of his 800-meter race in the IAAF Diamond League international track-and-field competition in Shanghai. Instead, he pulled up and started celebrating early, allowing Kenyan Robert Kiptoo Biwott to win the race.  

In the process, Makhloufi, the reigning Olympic champion, also lost the $10,000 grand prize for the race. And that, folks, is adding insult to injury.
