During a KHL game, the skate of former NHL player Jan Bulis clipped the neck of Denis Sokolov as the two were racing for a puck, slicing Sokolov’s carotid artery. Take a look for yourself, but be warned: it’s not for the faint of heart (or stomach).

Ahhh sweet merciful crap! It's actually surprising that this doesn't happen, considering hockey games are just 10 guys flying around with razor blades strapped to their feet.
