Former Lakewood BlueClaw Makes Opening Day Roster For Phillies

Brock Stassi was drafted by the Phillies in the 33rd round of the Amateur Draft in 2011, and has bounced around the farm system since then, including a season with the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Yesterday he got the news that he had made the Opening Day roster for the Phils, and his reaction is wonderfully emotional.

Good for Brock Stassi! I don't know why seeing grown men cry gets me all emotional too, but it always does. Good luck in the Big Show (even though I'm not a Philly fan, I hope this guy does well).
