Last night was the first of three Bruce Springsteen shows live from Met Life Stadium in Rutherford, NJ. It was an epic 3 hour and 45 minute performance which featured a ton of classics and some new tracks off  Bruce's latest "Wrecking Ball" Album.

A highlight of the show was at one point Max Weinberg stepped away form the drum kit, and was replaced by the original E street drummer Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez. Lopez then played drums for the classic tune "E Street Shuffle" and later played tambourine for "Tenth Avenue Freeze out" and "Twist and Shout"

Lopez also made a guest appearance on drums back in 2003 for Springsteen's Tour of 'The Rising album" where he played the drums during "Spirit In The Night"

The "Mad Dog" Vini Lopez was a DJ on the Hawk airwaves from 2004-2009.

The E street Band plays two more shows at Met Life Stadium Friday and Saturday Night September 21st & 22nd. Bruce turns 63 at midnight on Saturday/Sunday night
