The Wildwood Sun by the Sea Magazine shared this incredible video on Facebook.

Two woman spotted the dolphin splashing in the shallow water along the shore. She and another woman braved the 41* water to try to bring the dolphin out past a sandbar, but the waves pushed it back in. Eventually the North Wildwood Fire Department was called in, and used a stretcher to bring the dolphin back out to sea.

The Press of Atlantic City also featured video of the Coast Guard releasing the animal back to the wild.
