One of the Top 25 metal albums of all time is being reissued this month. Dio‘s ‘Holy Diver,’ originally released in 1983, will be available on Jan. 31.

The never version will feature all nine original songs and a “two-page spread of the photo-montage LP liner, with images from both (Dio’s) Rainbow and Black Sabbath days, that was included on the original release.”

A statement from Audio Fidelity also says the reissue is mastered by specialist Steve Hoffman, and includes hits like ‘Stand Up and Shout,’ ‘Straight Through the Heart’ and ‘Rainbow in the Dark.’

The album is considered by many to be the band’s best work and now fans will get to hear it straight from the original 1983 studio tapes.

IGN Entertainment listed ‘Holy Diver’ at No. 8 on its list of Top 25 Metal Albums. It was made soon after singer Ronnie James Dio left Sabbath in 1982. Over the next ten years it would go on to achieve platinum certification in the U.S. and Silver certification in Britain.
