If you're not familiar with Charlie LeDuff, he's a problem solver for Fox 2 in Detroit, Mich. He's the one that goes out and fixes the wrongs of society, all with a smarmy charm that makes you love to hate him... or hate to love him.

In LeDuff's latest attempt to help clean up the Motor City, he headed to Detroit's East Side, where one resident filed a complaint after recording video of a man dumping old tires in the middle of the street. That citizen contacted LeDuff, gave him the video and license plate number of the vehicle doing the dumping and asked for his help.

It didn't take long to track down the creep and Charlie went straight to his house to find out what the deal was. Not surprisingly, he didn't answer the door when the reporter knocked. LeDuff contacted the police, who gave the man one last shot to right his wrong. They said that if he cleaned up the tires, that would be the end of it. He did nothing, so they towed his van!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you report the news in Detroit!
