Def Leppard is thinking about new music as well as a return to Las Vegas for another residency there.

The band, according to loudwire.com, is contemplating a new album which honors their successful past but also embraces new territory.

Vivian Campbell explains: "....the band is successful for a certain sound. It’s a brand like Coca-Cola and you’ve got to give the people what they expect. At the same time, you have to move on.”

Def Leppard is currently preparing new material in Dublin.

Earlier this year they spent time in Vegas for a "Viva Hysteria" residency, and due to its success, they're planning on settling in there again, only this time they'll celebrate 1983's Pyromania album with a late 2014 "Viva Pyromania" stay.
