Def Leppard's blockbuster 1987 album Hysteria recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, but the band will apparently continue the party next year.

Guitarist Phil Collen recently told Los Angeles radio station KLOS during an appearance on Jonesy's Jukebox that the group will probably hit the road in 2018 for a special tour that will include entire performances of Hysteria every night.

Collen was asked if Def Leppard are going to tour to celebrate the landmark album's 30th anniversary. "We are," he said. "I know it'll be next year we're gonna go on tour. … We're getting some offers to play the whole album all the way, through. So, yeah, we'll be doing that."

Hysteria was recently reissued in a new box set that includes a remastered version of the original album, two discs of B-sides and alternate versions, a pair of live discs and two DVDs. The album spawned seven singles (including the band's only No. 1 hit in the U.S., "Love Bites") and has sold more than 12 million copies in the States.

Singer Joe Elliott recently told Forbes (via Blabbermouth) that "having an album like Hysteria is kind of like having a tattoo — you make that decision, and we lived this album pretty much every day of our lives since then. ... It's an important statement by the band ... and luckily for us it remains one. That's the great thing about it — it's not one of these records that sold really well, then fell off the planet. It stayed alive, the way Hotel California or Rumours or Led Zeppelin 4 did."
