The documentary on the Rolling Stones is out today on DVD and Blu-Ray!

Brett Morgen, who directed the film, is ecstatic that Mick Jagger himself thinks it's great.

An article in The Sun reveals that Brett said:

“Mick turned to me at the premiere in London and said how much he loved the film. I had to pinch myself.”

All the Stones are happy with the film, except Ron Wood, because the film chronicles the band from 1962 to 1981, but Ronnie didn’t join until 1975.

Brett says Ron wants more:

“He feels a bit slighted because he was only around for a few of the years we covered. He’s really pushing for a sequel so he can be in it.”

According to Rollingstones.com:

"Directed by Brett Morgen, the film features historical footage, much of it widely unseen, and commentary from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, as well as rare interviews with Brian Jones. Period interviews, extensive live performance material and news archive footage will complete the documentary, which takes its title from the opening lines of ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’."

Will you buy it?

Also, a big hint has been dropped leading some to think the Stones will be part of the 2013 Coachella Festival lineup.

There's a photo of a stone in the field of the festival's site on their Facebook page (last month a Coachella date for April 12th was on the officials Stones app, but it was taken down shortly afterwards).
