Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.

Congratulations to Tyson Grindle, Our Warrior of the Week for the week of February 26, 2018.

According to his nominator:

TSgt Tyson Grindle was recently recognized for his outstanding achievements in the month of January as the Vehicle Operations NCOIC. Sgt Grindle managed a fleet worth $3.6 million, a budget of $37,000, and 716 vehicle requirements. During the January snow storm, his efforts led to the organization of 30 hours in safe plow operations, nearly 400 man hours dedicated to removal procedures, and the recovery of 3 government vehicles to sustain the critical missions at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Simultaneously, Tyson secured partnerships with 11 other units to successfully create a tactical convoy course to train 76 Logistics Readiness personnel.

The list continues with his creation of a bus certification plan, movement of 107 Marine partners, 4 Navy partners, and delivery of 97 tons of cargo across 4,000 miles to aid in 518 sortie generations.
