Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.

Congratulations to Sean Gleason, Our Warrior of the Week for the week of October 9, 2017.

Sean Gleason is a graduate of Manasquan High School and it's no coincidence that the team mascot is the Warrior. Gleason served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Gulf War in Desert Storm before joining the New Jersey National Guard and New Jersey State Police.

Gleason currently maintains his Warrior roots as the Sr. Vice Commander of the Manasquan VFW where he routinely assists local veterans in a variety of capacities. In the words of his nominator, "there is no conversation about Veterans in the southern Monmouth County area where Sean's name is not mentioned. To me and everyone who knows him, THAT is what makes him our Warrior, and your Warrior of the Week."

Very well said.

Congratulations to Sean Gleason, our Warrior of the Week.

Do you know a deserving past or present military member? Nominate them now. Every Military Monday, we’ll share one of the nominations and honor that person as our Warrior of the Week.
