Congratulations To Olivia Kennedy, Our Warrior of the Week

Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.

Congratulations to Olivia Kennedy, Our Warrior of the Week for the week of April 23, 2018.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Olivia H. Kennedy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Kennedy is the daughter of Kevin B. Kennedy of Toms River, N.J., and Ellen M. Chamberlin of Keyport, N.J., step-daughter of Eugene A. Chamberlin of Keyport, N.J., and granddaughter of Mary Ellen M. Maine of Tampa Bay, Fla.

She is a 2014 graduate of Monmouth Christian Academy in Hazlet.
