Amazon is preparing to launch a same-day package delivery system using drones.

According to bloomberg.com, Amazon is testing drones to deliver goods as the world’s largest e-commerce company works to improve efficiency and speed in getting products to consumers.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos says his company might start using drones within five years and they can make a delivery within 30 minutes in a 10-mile radius of an Amazon fulfillment center.

The U.S. Congress has directed the FAA to develop a plan to integrate drones into U.S. airspace by 2015.

The paranoid part of myself is thinking: how do we know these buggers won't be examining us instead of "delivering packages" and recording our every movement and reporting back to the powers that be and judging us for hating the government, thereby getting ready to take us out?

Plus, our neighbor seems nice, but that drone that will be hovering over his house has me thinking I'm not inviting him to my Christmas party.

I need medication, don't I? :-D
