Comic-Con Comes To Ocean County

San Diego Comic Con has become one of the biggest events of the geek calendar. New York has hosted its own Cons, and now Berkeley is getting in on the action with the first CENTRAL-CON.

Central-Con is happening at Central Regional High School on Saturday, August 3rd from 9a to 5p. There will be cosplay contests, door prizes, artists, vendors, and comic book movies playing in the auditorium.

Special guests include:

• Tony DiGerolamo - writer for The Simpsons comic book series
• Will Torres - creator/writer/artist for The Official Walking Dead Magazine, Dynamite Entertainment, and Marvel Comics
• Corey Sosner - founder of Action Actors, a company that provides celebrity look-alikes and other characters for corporate and live events

Admission is $10, while kids 12 and under get in free. You can follow the event on Facebook for any updates.
