It is Waves of Action day today, and COA is calling for volunteers to head out to locations around New Jersey and New York to help communities recover and rebuild from super-storm Sandy. 

Cleanup projects are underway this morning all around the shore.

In Long Branch, volunteers from Massachusetts and Monmouth University are helping clean up the beach by removing large tree logs from the sand.

If you are interested in volunteering, you must complete this Waiver Form to participate. Or your project leader will have forms for you to complete on site.  Parents or guardians must sign for anyone under 18 years of age.
