Christie Rampone Rings Bell at New York Stock Exchange

U.S. Olympic Women’s Soccer Team Captain Christie Rampone was on Wall Street on Thursday, ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Rampone, who grew up in Point Pleasant and was a standout player at Point Pleasant Boro High School and Monmouth University, led the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to a gold medal in the London games this year. It was her fourth appearance on the Olympic team.

Her appearance at the NYSE precedes a Friday victory celebration at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
