Chef Mike's ABG in Seaside Park is gearing up for their summer menu, but it's missing just one thing... your favorite dish!

Chef Mike has been taking submissions for a personal dish to appear on his 2018 summer menu, and we're down to the final five!

Check out our first contestant, Cheryl. Cheryl cooked us an ahi tuna watermelon appetizer.

Remember, here are a few ground rules:

  • The dish should be an appetizer
  • The cost to create your dish cannot exceed $7
  • The ingredients should be accessible and easy to find in the area

Judging will be conducted by the staffs of both Chef Mike's ABG and 105.7 The Hawk, and will be based on: taste, presentation, creativity, and ease of prep.

20% of the winning item's sale throughout the summer will go directly to A Need We Feed, a 501-C3 organization that feeds the needy throughout Ocean County.

The final winner will be announced on Friday, June 15th.
