Back on October 21st, The state Department of Environmental Protection declared a drought warning for 14 New Jersey counties including Monmouth, and Ocean County.

Officials say this drought in NJ is the worst we have seen in fourteen years.

The New Jersey Highlands Coalition took to the skies to to get a view of the Round Valley and Spruce Run reservoirs in Hunterdon County and the Wanaque and Monksville reservoirs in Passaic County. Some areas of the reservoir are completely dry

These reservoirs supply water to 70% of New Jersey.
