I can't believe we're only a month away from this year's Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon. It feels like we were just out at the Target/Lowe's/Petco shopping center on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, raising money to help kids with cancer and their families right here in Ocean County.

One of the things we always point out is that Ocean of Love is a year-round organization. It sounds obvious, but sometimes people have the blinders on and only remember them during the Radiothon. There are plenty of ways to help raise money for Ocean of Love all year long, and some other groups do their own fundraisers leading up to our Radiothon.

The good people who created the Arthur Szymanski Charity Ride & Drive have been long-time supporters of Ocean of Love, and last year made an incredible donation of $6,000!

This year, they're holding their annual Charity Ride & Drive this Sunday, September 23rd.

Registration starts at Central Regional Middle School in Bayville at 10 a.m. For $15 per rider/car, you'll get a commemorative bracelet; $25 gets you the bracelet and a t-shirt. Motorcycles and cars will start the ride at noon, then return to the Captain's Inn in Lacey at 2 p.m. for a huge after-party with food, music, raffles and more!

Lend your support to this great group and help out Ocean of Love at the same time!
