Charity Golf Outing To Help Rebuild East Dover Fire Department

East Dover Firehouse is holding their 18th annual golf outing on Thursday may 16th at Bea Lea Golf Course in Toms River.

When Hurricane Sandy hit, it destroyed the firehouse and their much needed equipment to help them do their jobs. The firehouse was filled with over 3 feet of water that destroyed everything they had. They are currently working out of 2 trailers in their parking lot due to the pure destruction inside.

This event is a major fundraiser for the fire company to help offset the everyday costs of running the firehouse.

There will  banquet will be held at the firehouse immediately following the outing, which includes a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, beer, wine, soda, awards and plenty of door prizes.

Greens fees are $95.00 per person this year. They are also looking for hole sponsors as well,
