I think this is a little crazy, but who asked for my opinion right?

Because of a shortened day due to a power outage on May 4th, students will have to attend a half day of school on Saturday, June 9th says Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides.

According to the Patch:

Neither Central Regional High School or the Middle School received the required 240 minutes of instruction on May 4, so the day needs to be made up

Seriously...What are the students really going to learn that day? I'm pretty much sure the teachers don't want to be there either. I just think this whole thing is just silly.

Graduation dates for the high school and the middle school had already been set in advance, this is the only date available.
