This week [Celluloid Hero] focuses on movies set or filmed in New Jersey!

Two guys determined to make it to Cherry Hill to get some sliders. Parts were filmed in Hoboken.

A great autobiographical movie by Woody Allen. Filmed in Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, Belmar, Neptune, Deal, and Hoboken.

"You see the world through John Malkovich's eyes. Then after about 15 minutes, you're spit out into a ditch on the side of the New Jersey Turnpike!"

I love director Darren Aronofsky. A beautifully brutal story of a past-his-prime wrestler, a past-her-prime stripper, and a lot of shots at redemption. Filmed on the Asbury Park boardwalk, a supermarket in Bayonne, and some other locations in North Jersey.

It was hard to choose my favorite Kevin Smith movie, but I ended up going all the way back to the beginning. Shot in the Quick Stop in Leonardo.
