It's the most wonderful time of the year - Christmas movie time!  In the past I've done the WORST Christmas movies, along with some non-traditional choices. My Top5 has changed in recent years, so here are my most recent favorite movies to watch all through the month of December!

Die Hard

Can we settle this debate once and for all? It takes place at a Christmas party, there are Christmas trees and HoHoHos...it's a Christmas movie!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Still my favorite of the Rankin/Bass collection. I don't always get excited for "Frosty the Snowman" or "The Year Without A Santa Claus", but Rudolph always makes me smile.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

A former number one on this list, it's recently been bumped by a newcomer (see below). I still love everything Muppet, and Michael Caine is a fantastic Scrooge.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I lean towards this being more of a Christmas movie than Halloween movie, but I'll watch it all October and all December long either way.

Elf

For some reason, I never watched this when it first came out. It took me about a decade before I sat down and watched it at the behest of my then-fiancee. Three years ago was my first viewing, and it's now become one of those movies that I'll stop and watch repeatedly all season long.

Did one of your favorites miss the cut? Let me know what your Top 5 Christmas movies are!
