Celebrate New Year’s Day With “Fire & Ice”

Once you finally wake up after your New Year's Eve shenanigans, you can head to the Tuckerton Seaport's free New Year's Day "Fire and Ice" festival.

The event runs from noon to 6pm and will conclude with a fireworks display courtesy of the Pinelands Fourth of July Celebration Committee, according to the Seaport's Facebook page.

The free festival will feature live music from Gary Philips (noon-2pm) and The Pickles (2:30-5:30p).

Food trucks scheduled to appear include: Cajun Jax...Chimney Cake Factory...Five Sisters...House of Cupcakes...Maddalenas Cheesecake Company...Mannino's Cannoli Express...Meat Wagon BBQ...Pompier Pierogi Flats...Zinna's Mobile Bistro.

The whole family can explore the Seaport’s 40 acres, featuring maritime activities, historic and recreated buildings, live animals, a boardwalk, miniature golf course, and exhibits. You can get all the details on the Seaport's facebook page.
