As the remnants of Ophelia slowly pass through New Jersey, inclement weather and the threat of coastal flooding will extend into the start of the workweek.
The first weekend of fall will be an inclement one, as New Jersey braces for several rounds of heavy rain, 50+ mph wind gusts, and moderate coastal flooding.
The newly upgraded tropical storm is spinning about 400 miles south of New Jersey as of Friday afternoon, and will be a big weekend rain, wind, and wave maker.
