Attack Of The Sun Halo or Aliens? [PHOTOS]

In case you didn't have a chance to look to the skies this afternoon, or you live in a cave with no internet access, I present to you the "Sun Halo"

Solar Halo- A luminous halo parallel to the horizon at the altitude of the sun; caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere

Now take a close at the photos. Check out the blue dot in most of the pics.

Building A Sandy Castle in Point Pleasant

Today was the opening ceremony for Ed Jarrett's attempt to break his own Guinness Record for the World's Tallest Sandcastle, being built outside Jenkinson's Aquarium in Point Pleasant. The weather got in the way, but I still got some good pictures!

Florida Gulf Coast Men's college basketball team is definitely the talk of this years NCAA Tournament. They have taking the tournament by storm, and has everyone buzzing with their dynamic play.

As the #15 seed at the beginning of the tournament they have put together two major upsets on by beating #2 seeded Georgetown, and then advancing to the "Sweet 16" by beating #7 seed San Diego State.

They are the first #15 seed to EVER advance to the "Sweet 16" in the history of the tournament.

Shocking Photos During Hurricane Sandy Captured From the Mantoloking Bridge

Photos of the devastation that was happening at the height of Hurricane Sandy were released today.

A camera that was running on generator power and that was attached to the underneath of the Mantoloking bridge took these photos of the debris rushing through Barnegat Bay.
