Tyrone Johnson’s Week 17 NFL Picks
Hard to believe that is the final week of the regular season. The Giants control their own destiny for the NFC East title Sunday night, while the Jets need some help. The perfect week continues to elude me

It is a HUGE week in the NFL. Jets, Giants, and Eagles are all still alive for the playoffs, but only 2 of the 3 can make it. Here are all my picks for this week.
Football fans have a reputation for being a little too rowdy. I am one and I know it is partially true. We drink a bit too much before the game at time. There is an occasional fight in the stands as well. I do know one thing though. We have NOTHING on European soccer fans.
Merry Christmas, football fans! It's probably not right to bet during the holiday season, but oh well. Enjoy the weekend and all the football!
One of the biggest cliches in the world is the statement. "everyone has a right to their opinion". While that is true and your right as a human being. It should NOT mean that you should be allowed to say rubbish things and have people accept that drivel.
Just a Bit Outside dedicated the 8 o'clock hour to Santa suits, but it quickly divulged into a conversation about a mailman who wore a Santa suit on his route. As shocked and upset as me? I certainly hope so.
Even though MetLife Stadium is shared by both the Giants and Jets, the Christmas Eve showdown between the two franchises is a home game for Gang Green. Rex Ryan and the Jet brass want to make sure the crowd and atmosphere dictate that.
There are only 10 days left in 2011!! Here is part 2 of the 3 part Best of 2011 series. For Part 1 click here.
We all at times question our lot in life. We wonder why we weren't born into millions of dollars and complete frauds like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton were. Many times we all just wish we could get a taste of the high life for just a little while. David Dopp got that chance when he won a Lamborghini in a contest.
Most of the people who follow the National Football League know how it works with Rex Ryan. He's going to talk no matter what. Win or loss, the Jet coach will have something to say. Coming off of a 45-19 beating at the hands of the then 5-8 Philadelphia Eagles hasn't discouraged the chatter. Heading into the Christmas Eve showdown with the cross town New York Giants, Rex isn't just talking a big game. He's asking for the blame if his team doesn't perform.
Just a Bit Outside prides itself on many things. Great radio. Good looks. Knowledge about everything from sports, to life skills, to holding court with the ladies. Somewhere on that list includes consistency. Every week includes a Top 5 Tuesday topic.
This week: The Top 5 things I want for Christmas.
