Who has photo proof of giving their dog a bad haircut? I'm putting together a gallery of the best/worst photos and I want yours! I have to fess up, When it came time to groom my dog for the first time I naively thought, I can do that. I was wrong. Sorry Fozzie, I ruined your street cred with just a few swipes of my electric buzzer. You went from a sweet, fuzzy teddy bear to Alf from the 90's (remember that show?) This time around I let a pro do the work and while it is waaaay better than my skills, Fozzie looks like a TOTALLY DIFFERENT DOG.

I could watch Shark Week every single day and never be bored. Sharks are the most fascinating animals in the world! I have been seeing and hearing many Jersey Shore locals get angry about people abusing the power of service dogs? It doesn't really make sense to me because I don't own a dog and I don't need a service dog. As we know, service dogs can be a great assistance to many people in our community.

A fun fact that many people don't know about me is that I love pelicans. Believe it or not, I collect pelican paintings, sculptures, and other pelican memorabilia. My love for the bird started when I was living on the beaches of Carolina. I can't really pinpoint why I like them so much, I just think they are unique and that they live a sweet beach life. Pelicans are definitely my spirit animal!

I just caught wind of some swim advisories and with the heat wave we are experiencing I thought it was important info to pass along to you. Enterococci is not our friend and it has been detected in uncomfortable levels in multiple popular swimming spots.

No, they are not jell-o shot leftovers from some rager, they're called salps. As you might imagine, my kids were full of questions...are they alive? Can they sting us like jellyfish? Will they go away? Here are the answers!

I thought these cicadas were history...you did too right? Not so fast. The Brood X cicadas had their fun...they were on trees, on the ground and in my dog's mouth but believe it or not, there's more but they are way different. Now we have annual cicadas emerging and they aren't quiet about it.

In an awful case of animal cruelty, an Ocean County woman has pled guilty to charges she left three dogs in an abandoned house in Lacey Township to die.

I freaking love Jon Stewart. He was spotted this week in Surf City at Scojo’s Eatery which is not at all unusual. Jon is a Jersey guy and a regular on the Island. Of course we know and love him from his time on The Daily Show but in case you didn't know, he has one of the kindest souls in the tri-state.
