I share with you reports of a sighting from a couple in Dennis Township in Cape May County.

Sadly, another dead whale just washed up on the beach here at the Jersey Shore, this time in Atlantic City. Some experts say it is due to rough waters and recent storms although Clean Ocean Action was among 5 groups called in to see why six dead whales washed up on our shores in the last 33 days. The last time I checked, whales are pretty good swimmers so pollution seems more likely don't you think?

Michael Phelps has nothing on this sweet fur baby. He got away from his owner and jumped into the ice cold Hudson River to take a dip. Except once he saw Jersey on the other side, he just kept going...and going...and going until he was in the diner capital of world. Yes, this puppy swam across the Hudson, alone in the winter and is alive and well.

This seems pretty upsetting at first, but I think in the long run New York banning the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits is actually a good thing. Maybe New Jersey will adopt the idea next.
