Bruce Springsteen’s Son Joins Colts Neck Fire Department

Bruce Springsteen has got to be beaming with pride right about now because his son has officially joined the ranks of the heroic.

And according to freehold.patch.com, proud mom Patti Scialfa called Sam #OurFamilyHero in an Instagram posting after the Monmouth County Fire Academy graduation.

Fire departments across the area welcomed new members following the graduation of 42 trainees, including Springsteen's 20-year-old son, from the Monmouth County Fire Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 14 and Wednesday, Jan. 15.

There is no doubt that it takes a special person to be willing to risk his or her life on behalf of others.

Congratulations not only to Sam but to all the firefighters who just graduated and have begun their work as courageous young men and women.
