Bruce Springsteen is getting ready to release a new (sort of) single and is most likely working on a new album.

Actually, according to ultimateclassicrock.com, The Boss looks like he's ready to release a re-recording of "High Hopes".

"The details are admittedly sketchy at this point, but the story got started courtesy of the Danish music site Wimp, where a listing for a new Springsteen single titled ‘High Hopes’ showed up on the release schedule for Nov. 19."

We'll see if those rumors turn out to be true, but in the meantime, it's confirmed that Bruce has been in the studio lately.

According to rollingstone.com, Springsteen has talked about his plans for the follow-up to "Wrecking Ball":

I have stuff I'm working on that I'm very happy about...I have a lot of material. I still feel like I'm in the middle of the well."
