The annual all-request edition of The Bruce Brunch radio program, hosted by Tom Cunningham on 105.7 The Hawk, will return for its 13th year, with all proceeds benefiting FULFILL (formerly, The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties).  The show, now in its 15th year, features the music of Bruce Springsteen and other Jersey Shore legends on Sunday morning.  Requests will be taken on Sunday, November 18 at beginning 9 a.m. ET by calling (732) 643-5891 with donations being accepted via credit card payment.

The special three-hour program will air on Sunday, November 25 beginning at 9 a.m. ET on 105.7 FM.

There’s space for 20 songs, with a $25 (minimum) donation for each song with proceeds going to FULFILL.  Listeners are welcome to pick the Bruce Springsteen song of their choice and include a personal dedication along as well.

"I look forward to the all-request show every year,” said Cunningham, who has been an on-air radio talent for over 40 years.  “In addition to helping to raise thousands of dollars over the years for our local Foodbank, the folks who participate always come up with some amazing requests and dedications.  Collecting donations to end hunger touches people on a most local and fundamental level.  I can’t remember the last time that I’ve walked out of one of Bruce’s shows and there’s not been someone from a local food concern accepting donations.  It’s 13 years in, and I'm very proud to continue to partner the Bruce Brunch, everyone at The Hawk, and the great team at the Townsquare Media Shore to help benefit FULFILL."

“FULFILL is honored to have the Bruce Brunch listeners support our organization and our neighbors in Monmouth and Ocean Counties,” said Laura Chiappetta, Fulfill. “Tom Cunningham’s program has become a staple on Sunday mornings to listen to some of our favorite songs from local artists, and we love when the community mobilizes to help their neighbors in need.”

FULFILL

Formerly, The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties:

Fulfill distributes more than 12 million meals annually through a network of over 300 feeding programs. Hunger in Monmouth and Ocean Counties is a crisis that cannot be remedied with emergency food alone. Fulfill works toward long-term solutions to the chronic problem of food insecurity, with initiatives to support a community where all people at all times have access to enough food to maintain an active and healthy life. Through programs and services like the Culinary Arts Training Program, Nutrition Education, and assistance with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), free tax preparation, and affordable healthcare, Fulfill is working to build food-secure communities. We feed the lines and work toward shortening them at the same time. Fulfill has received the highest rating of 4 Stars from Charity Navigator for eight consecutive years. A total of 95 cents out of every dollar raised supports food and programs. Visit us at www.fulfillnj.org.
