The first armed robbery occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m., at the 7-11 convenience store located on State Hwy 88 and Midstreams Rd.  A subject wearing a ski mask entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded money from the store employee.

As the store employee began to turn over money to the suspect, he attempted to pull the ski mask off the suspect.  The suspect then raised the knife towards the employee.  The employee retreated into the office, at which time the suspect fled with no proceeds.

The second armed robbery occurred a short time later, approximately 5:20 a.m., at the Wawa convenience store located at 6 Lanes Mill Road in Brick.   The suspect in this robbery also brandished a knife and demanded money from the store employee.  The employee activated an alarm, at which time the suspect left the store with no proceeds.
