Brick Plaza Halts Renovation During Shopping Season
The massive renovations of Brick Plaza will be put on hold during the holiday shopping season.
Amanda Cheslock, spokeswoman for Federal Realty Investment Trust (who owns Brick Plaza), said renovations to the exterior of the plaza will continue after the new year, beginning with work near the Petsmart store. That work will not pick up until after January 1st because they do not want to "encroach on their business this time of year."
A new Ulta beauty supply store has already opened in the plaza, where the A&P once was. A DSW Shoes will open up next to Ulta soon.
The company also plans to add planter beds, more sidewalk seating and other aesthetic improvements to make the plaza more welcoming to shoppers.
