I graduated from Brick Memorial High School, and over the weekend I got tagged in a Facebook thread by some of my old friends who still stay connected to the school.

Nicholas Matawa is a student who was diagnosed with autism at a young age; his mother was told he was unlikely to graduate high school. Despite that, Nicholas made it through Brick Memorial, has taken classes at Ocean County College, and hopes to go to Marshall University in West Virginia, which has a partnership with the National Autism Training Center.

Nicholas can make his college dream more of a reality if he wins the "Stuck At Prom" scholarship contest, sponsored by Duck Tape.

Nicholas is one of five finalists up for the grand prize, a $10,000 scholarship. It took Nicholas 34 hours to turn 29 rolls of duct tape into a wearable tuxedo, and the results are incredible.

Voting will end June 25th, so get your votes in and help a local kid win!
