“Born to Run Beer Mile” Coming to Lakewood BlueClaws

It's Bruce Springsteen Appreciation Night (aka BruceClaws Night) at First Energy Park on Saturday, July 29th as the Lakewood BlueClaws face the Hickory Crawdads at 7:05p

The night is going to be all about Springsteen, where the players wear special "BruceClaws" Jerseys. Our very own Tom Cunningham, Host of the Bruce Brunch, will be the guest P.A. Announcer during the game and he'll be a guest in the radio broadcast booth as well!!

There will also be a special pregame performance by the E Street Band at 5p.

And this year for the very first time, you can take part in the "Born to Run Beer Mile"!!

This is so cool. You get to run around the the warning track of First Energy Park AND drink beers! Here's how it works:

• Runners will start on the field and run a lap of the warning track. After each lap, participants will receive a beer.
• The first runner to finish three laps and three beers wins!
• Each runner also receives a commemorative T-Shirt!
• Must be 21+ to participate
• Registration begins at 5p, at the 1B Gate
• Cost is $29.95 per runner and that includes tickets to the game. Three beer vouchers, and commemorative T-Shirt

All the while the E-Street Shuffle rocks the stadium!!
