Bono at 54: Having Trouble Writing New Songs

First, happy belated birthday to Bono, who was born on May 10, 1960 in Dublin, Ireland.

U2 has delayed their new album and tour to 2015.

According to nydailynews.com:

“Bono’s had trouble writing songs for the new album,” says one insider close to the band.

U2 were looking to release a new album in the coming months, even though a date was never announced.

The plan was supposedly to follow that release with a tour at the end of the year.

U2 did start 2014 on a high note.

After winning a Golden Globe in January, they performed on the debut of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and rocked the Academy Awards earlier this year.
